To play at this event you need to register a team of two players. Purchasing this item is for one player only. 

Date: 9th September 2023

Structure: The tournament will be divided into two parts. An open section where teams can compete against each other regardless of how many teams a university has. Then a squad division where the top team from each uni will play off for the title. This format is subject to change as we finalise teams.

Schedule (subject to change): 

9:00am Check-in and warm up

9:15: Welcome and rule clarification

9:30am: Pool Play (Games to 11, no hard cap)

10:45am: Bracket Stage (Games to 11, win by two points)

12:00pm: Break for Lunch

12:30pm: Final (Games to 15, win by two points)

1:45pm: 8 Team Squad Bracket (Top team from each university)

What to expect: It's our first ever Australian Uni Champs! And it's guaranteed to be a fun and really competitive day! All uni students, regardless of skills or experience in the sport are welcome to join in the first half of the day. In the second half, we will be inviting the top team from each university to represent their university at the squad level. This means everyone will have a chance to play in the first half of the day and then get around and support their heroes in the fight for the title!

Eligibility: All Australian universities are welcome to participate. To represent your uni, you and your partner will simply need to purchase your tickets and complete your registration by filling out the form that will hit your inbox once you've purchased your ticket. We'll then link you up with your coach so you can get some pickup games going on campus. Coaches are encouraged to play in the tournament and will be responsible for team selection for their university.
To be eligible, you just need to be an enrolled student at your university in 2023 and be able to present your current student card.

Registration: Following your purchase you will automatically be sent an email to complete your registration online. Both players much also complete their registration in advance of the tournament to be eligible to play. 

Closes 6th September or unless we have reached capacity. 

Early bird: $10 per person up until the 25th August. $15 per person from 26th August.
